第二篇，讲的是一些用人单位过于关注去挖别的单位的performance stars，但挖回来了后单位效益也没有增加，因为这种star会产生三个问题，第一个是他们需要更多的salary，第二个是不利于他们新组成的team，举了个例子说这种情况就好像体内植入一个新器官，这个新器官需要别的器官的血液和营养来供给它，以至于不利于别的器官生长。第三个问题我忘了。下一段举了球队的例子，说球队能得到很好的成绩，不是因为他有stars，而是因为团队的合作。然后就强调organization的重要性。
第三篇讲的雪崩，说了雪崩产生的原因，和法国的啥组织致力于研究雪崩和它的预测。
