12月——西方的圣殿月，无论是圣诞节还是11月底的感恩节，都带着点宗教的肃穆。12月历来是雅思放空的一个月，历史上告诉我们：12月天下无事。基本上不考流程图等偷袭题型，大作文也不考新题，甚至好几年都是赤裸裸的老题，考官的心态也像是“年前综合症——看什么都爽”。所以首先要恭喜12月考雅思的朋友们，你们确实报到了一年最“爽”的一个月。
由于十一月份还是没有考到偷袭题型，所以大家可以放心的“赌”下去，把11月30号新东方雅思年会发的重要资料中“流程图最全集锦”中的凸准备一下就可以了，也可以在我的博客下载。我的预测是12月份的第一次是最有可能的，否则一切平安无事。此外小作文最近有常考静态图的特点，大家要注意类似“关于男女生四科成绩比较”的静态图，模考班确实说中了不少题。
大作文其实也早就尘埃落定，特别是政府金融就业的话题，大家可以与时俱进一下，科技上个月偷袭了一下，本月还会出现，但是还是些老套的“飞机+图书馆+多媒体+加工食品”等模式，练练三四套题就可以窥其全貌，大家不要太功利了，就像我在课上说的那样，最高境界是“混球”，希望大家存心“混”起来。
下面是12月最后阶段必练的几道题：
1) Some people think children’s spending time on TV, video and PC games is good, while others think it is bad. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
2) An increasing number of people choose to live in big cities. What problems will this bring about? Should the government encourage people to live in small towns?

5) With technology speeding up, more and more young people begin to use mobile phones and the Internet, but old people have little chance to be exposed to them. What ways could mobile phone and the Internet e useful to old people? How do old people be encouraged to use this new technology?
